Abstract

O objetivo deste texto é analisar e interpretar os conceitos e preconceitos lingüístico-gramaticais, culturais e sociais que perpassam o discurso construído por “representantes” - com diversos graus de letramento - de várias esferas sociais e institucionais (mídia, escola, família etc.), ao julgarem socialmente, e não lingüisticamente, os chamados “erros gramaticais” como “crimes de lesa-pátria”. Também o discurso produzido pelos adolescentes entrevistados em pesquisa sobre construção/produção da escrita na internet e na escola deixa entrever julgamentos semelhantes, tanto ao reproduzir a opinião da escola quanto a própria, refletindo uma educação que tem efeitos deletérios, tanto nas relações sociais quanto nas educacionais, principalmente na educação lingüística que é oferecida a nossa infância e juventude.
