Abstract

O artigo discute políticas públicas voltadas para crianças e adolescentes em situação de rua. Partindo de questões como a adequação e a dinâmica entre limites e espaços institucionais na viabilização dessas políticas, são analisados alguns projetos educativos a partir de sua dimensão antropológica, na medida em que levam em conta os processos socioculturais e universos simbólicos significativos nas experiências de vida dos grupos aos quais eles se destinam - garantindo, assim, a sua eficácia. Por fim, a discussão está ilustrada com uma proposta concreta de desenvolvimento de processos educativos através da ação sobre espaços públicos da cidade, dentro do paradigma contemporâneo da preservação ambiental
