Este trabalho analisa os principais indicadores educacionais do país, revelando erros nas estatísticas oficiais do Ministério da Educação que levam a distorções nas políticas educacionais. Ao contrário do que se apregoa, verifica-se que o brasileiro faz um esforço enorme para se educar. A análise dos indicadores de desempenho, comparados aos de alguns países, sugere que o Brasil não tem como competir num mundo onde a internacionalização do capital e da tecnologia é cada vez mais acentuada. Sugerem-se algumas políticas que deveriam ser implementadas para superação dos atuais níveis de ineficiência de nosso sistema educacional.Downloads
