Abstract

O objetivo deste artigo é superar os usos espontâneos e sem controle das palavras "ética" e "inclusão". O autor realiza inicialmente um balanço histórico dos trabalhos filosóficos sobre ética, em seguida delineia a evolução das representações socioculturais da deficiência para entender as relações entre ética e deficiência. Examina a noção de inclusão escolar tomando como exemplo o caso francês e o debate atual sobre a escolarização das crianças com necessidades especiais. Questiona a validade conceitual dos pares de oposição: integração/inclusão; exclusão/inclusão para finalmente defender uma ética de responsabilidade no lugar de uma ilusória ética de convicção.
